Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates, who wiped out a New Orleans execution in October because of “unanticipated detainment,” knows where he’ll be spending the following 30 months: In jail.

That is the sentence Gates got Wednesday on a lawful offense weapon ownership charge in a 2013 Illinois case.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois says Kevin showed up in court Wednesday and pled blameworthy to his unique charge of lawful offense weapon ownership. Keep in mind, the remarkable weapons-related warrant flown up that day he finished his sentence in Florida for kicking a lady in the face at one of his shows.
