Ameesha Patel, Terence Lewis, and Anu Aggarwal, as the face of this event, spread the message of hope and awareness.
Rubina Akhtar Hasan Rizvi, Founder of the Help Yourself Foundation, said:
“The number 7 has always been very lucky for me. Our daughter is getting married next month, and with the rains and the workload of preparations, organizing this marathon was not easy for us as parents and foundation leaders.
But the purpose of this event is extremely meaningful, and that gave us the strength to keep going—and we succeeded. With rising cases of cancer, spreading awareness about early diagnosis is extremely important. We are happy that this year we received even more participation than previous editions. The purpose is to honor cancer survivors and increase cancer awareness. Our mission each year is to encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, to know what to do if diagnosed, and to support those who are bravely fighting this disease. We are wholeheartedly committed to standing with them.”
Ameesha Patel, Terence Lewis, and Anu Aggarwal appealed to everyone present to get regular cancer screenings, emphasizing that there is no need to fear—cancer can be treated.
