Rahool N Kanal Shares Untold Stories of Kindness, Says Anant Ambani Arranged Surgeries for Four Children in 24 Hours

Social activist and founder of the I Love Mumbai Foundation, Rahool N Kanal, recently shared several powerful stories of humanitarian work during a podcast conversation, highlighting how many acts of kindness by public figures often remain away from the spotlight.

 

Speaking during the podcast, Rahool N Kanal recalled a case involving four children who required life-saving surgeries costing nearly ₹40–50 lakh. According to him, several private hospitals were initially unwilling to take up the procedures due to the high cost involved.

 

“Once I informed Anant bhai about the situation, the surgeries were arranged within 24 hours,” Rahool N Kanal said, adding that the I Love Mumbai Foundation did not charge a single rupee for facilitating the treatment.

 

During the conversation, Rahool N Kanal also mentioned that many well-known personalities quietly support social causes. Referring to Virat Kohli, Anant Ambani and Salman Khan, he said that many of their good deeds remain unknown to the public because they rarely talk about them themselves.

 

He further spoke about animal welfare initiatives, explaining that several elephants rescued from poor conditions and cruelty were relocated to safer environments where they could receive proper care and live a better life.

Rahool N Kanal also revealed that many charitable initiatives are carried out discreetly across the country. As an example, he said that on Anant Ambani’s birthday, support reaches more than 2,000 shelters across India through volunteers and associates.

 

Sharing another emotional incident, Rahool N Kanal spoke about a 10-month-old baby diagnosed with two holes in the heart, whose parents could not afford the treatment. Cases like these, he said, reflect the struggles many families face when confronted with serious medical emergencies.

 

Apart from medical support, Rahool N Kanal said his foundation has also stepped in to help in other humanitarian situations. In some instances, abandoned or unclaimed bodies were given proper last rites using personal funds, ensuring dignity even in death.

 

According to Rahool N Kanal, people from below-poverty-line backgrounds are often able to access free medical treatment through Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) hospitals. He added that through the efforts of the foundation, more than 1,000 patients have been admitted for treatment, while over 5,000 individuals have received vaccinations.

 

Through the podcast discussion, Rahool N Kanal emphasized that many acts of compassion and service continue quietly behind the scenes, helping countless people without ever seeking recognition or publicity.
