Aikya PU College, Jayanagar Celebrates Vivekananda Jayanti with Enthralling Interschool Competitions and Prize Distribution Ceremony

Bengaluru – Aikya PU College, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, commemorated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by organizing a grand celebration marked by an interschool competition. The event, which spanned over several days, brought together students from more than 25 schools across the city for a series of intellectually stimulating activities that included Quiz, Elocution, Essay Writing, and Short Movie Making. The competition was held for students of grades 8th, 9th, and 10th, encouraging young minds to channel their creative, analytical, and public speaking skills in a bid to uphold the values championed by the revered Swami Vivekananda.

The event reached its grand finale today with a prestigious Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the winners of each category werehonoured for their outstanding performances. Students showcased their knowledge, creativity, and eloquence in their respective fields, making the event a vibrant platform for intellectual exchange.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Member of Parliament Shri L.S. Tejasvi Surya, and Guest of Honour, Jayanagar Constituency MLA Shri C.K. Ramamurthy. Both dignitaries, in their speeches, emphasized the importance of instilling a spirit of inquiry, self-reliance, and patriotism among the younger generation, values that were dearly upheld by Swami Vivekananda.
