Ajay Devgn’s Devgn Cinex Launched Next-Gen Multiplex at The Walk, Hiranandani, Thane

Mumbai: Indian superstar Ajay Devgn’s multiplex chain, Devgn Cinex, has redefined the movie-going experience with the launch of its new theatre at Bellona Tower, a state-of-the-art luxury multiplex, within The Walk — the signature high street retail destination at Hiranandani Estate, Ghodbunder Road, Thane, Maharashtra. The multiplex was inaugurated by Mr Kumar Mangat Pathak, Co-founder of Devgn CineX and Chairman of Panorama Studios and Mr Surendra Hiranandani, Chairman, House of Hiranandani, along with other key dignitaries, in a ceremony that included a diya-lighting ceremony and a walk-through of the cinema hall.

Designed to redefine the movie-going experience, the new multiplex features five state-of-the-art screens, a 953-seat capacity, including a luxury all-recliner auditorium named “Amor.”

For the first time in India, the theatre is equipped with Buttkicker motion seats. This technology directly correlates chair vibrations to the action on the screen, allowing the audience to feel every part of the film as if they were part of it, regardless of whether they experience either of the two major types of film effects or the same intensity of the film’s action.

Devgn Cinex will open its screens on March 19 with the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the season.

Ajay Devgn shared his excitement about this next-gen theatre launch by saying, “For me, cinema has always been about the experience of watching a story unfold on the big screen.
