Appinventiv Pledges 1 Cr In 100% Merit-Based Scholarship For The Underprivileged Students

Appinventiv Foundation, the selfless wing of the tech giant Appinventiv, has launched the EduBoost Scholarship Program to empower tech aspirants hailing from economically weaker sections. The initiative aims to facilitate financial aid for meritorious students enrolled in the first year of B.Tech (C.S.E./I.T.) or B.C.A. at an accredited College or University in India. As announced on the inauguration day of Appinventiv Foundation, the organization has pledged INR 1 Crore in scholarship funds for this initiative.

The research team that seeks welfare opportunities identified that many deserving aspirants lose scholarship opportunities as over 90% of scholarships have at least one caste-based criteria that pushes them way back in line. By eliminating caste, regional, and physical disabilities and making a singular financial criterion, the Appinventiv Foundation aims to help economically weaker sections get the much-needed financial aid to build their professional lives.

“Appinventiv aims to help meritorious young minds from economically weaker sections overcome financial roadblocks and achieve their dreams through higher education. Because, in a nation that is actively still fighting poverty, education is our best ladder out,” said Saurabh Singh, CEO of Appinventiv.

The management board has set transparent eligibility criteria for scholarship applicants, which include:

  • Minimum 70% marks in the 12th grade or diploma.
  • Less than INR 8 lakhs in annual family income.
  • Applicants must have passed Class 12th from India in the academic year 2023-24.

The courses chosen for scholarship eligibility are as follows:

  • B. Tech – Computer Science & Engineering
  • B. Tech – Information Technology
  • B. Tech – Electrical & Electronics
  • B. Tech – Electronics & Communications
  • B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Applications)

The final selection of applicants is subject to validation of the admission letter from an accredited College or University in India. Once selected, the students will be provided with reimbursement of tuition fees and other educational expenses paid as per the college’s fee structure.

The digital engineering leader has added another layer of career support for the selected scholars while motivating them to complete their graduation courses. All the enrolled students who win scholarships for all 3 or 4 years of their course will get an opportunity to interview for a six-month internship at Appinventiv. This opportunity surpasses a substantial waiting list of fresh graduates eager to work with Appinventiv’s top industry professionals and global clientele exposure in the most competitive tech landscape. One can visit the Appinventiv Foundation’s official page of the Edu-Boost Scholarship Program to read more or apply for the program.
