Born in the Bronx to Jamaican parents and raised across Brooklyn and Queens, PRI$$$$Y is the definition of a true New Yorker—resilient, outspoken, and impossible to overlook. With roots stretching from New York to New Jersey, Florida, Atlanta, and now Arizona, she carries the grit of every city she’s ever called home. Her multicultural upbringing, combined with the strength of her Caribbean heritage, fuels the unbreakable spirit behind her evolving artistry.
PRI$$$$Y began modeling and acting at a young age. Her talent was undeniable, her drive unmatched—but she quickly learned that the entertainment industry wasn’t built for a woman who refused to compromise her values.
In a 2022 interview, she described the early years bluntly:
“The industry is ruthless. Men constantly tried to sexualize me. I’ve been turned down for publications and projects simply because I refused to open my legs or stick my tongue out for attention. Integrity cost me opportunities, and I never forgot it.”
She recounted being approached with inappropriate propositions, including being told by a high-profile Atlanta radio personality:
“You can get into this game the easy way or the hard way—what’s it gonna be?”
A moment she describes as “violating, infuriating, and unforgettable.”
Despite being cast for roles, she often found her scenes cut or downgraded in favor of women who exchanged favors for placement. Instead of breaking her, it sharpened her vision.
“I told myself I’d finish school, build businesses, make millions—and then walk back into the industry on my terms. Money is power, and I wanted mine.”
True to her word, PRI$$$$Y pivoted—mastering real estate development, interior design, property management, and entrepreneurship. She launched multiple businesses, including:
She became known for transforming distressed properties into luxury homes, either selling them or keeping them in her expanding rental/Airbnb portfolio.
Her work ethic turned heads—and unfortunately, revealed envy in unexpected places.
“People envied my drive. I never understood why. I stayed humble, got my hands dirty, learned how to sand floors and install laminate… all while being a girly girl. Instead of support, it created secret enemies—even among contractors. It used to hurt. It doesn’t anymore.”
After surviving toxic relationships, betrayal from friends, and industry exploitation, PRI$$$$Y took a step back from the world and began a deep healing journey. Isolated but determined, she poured her emotions into music and reconnected with her faith.
Her upcoming EP “Healing” chronicles that journey—pain, transformation, and spiritual reclamation.
Her art is not built on fame.
Not built on vanity.
Not built on industry approval.
It’s built on truth.
Why PRI$$$$Y Inspires
She represents every woman who:
