India, April 6th, 2026 – Global technology brand OnePlus is set to unveil its most powerful device in the Nord line-up till date – the OnePlus Nord 6 on April 7th 2026. The OnePlus Nord 6 is a “Cheater Tech” of a powerhouse smartphone that offers flagship-grade performance in the mid-range segment with impossible Snapdragon speed, the segment’s largest 9000 mAh battery, segment leading 165Hz display and imaging prowess.

The launch event will be livestreamed on the OnePlus India YouTube Channel on April 7th 2026 at 7PM IST and packs the best in tech and the best in gaming battling it out for the ultimate mid-range king.

The device goes on sale on April 9th 2026 at 12 noon IST on Amazon.in, oneplus.in, OnePlus Experience stores and Select stores.

Flagship-Grade Performance that feels like Cheating

The OnePlus Nord 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm) with a 1+3+4 architecture, featuring a Cortex-X5 core up to 3.2GHz and Adreno 835 GPU. Under identical conditions, it scores 2,503,854 on AnTuTu which is 73.8% higher than the Motorola Edge 60 Pro.

It is also the first in its segment to deliver OnePlus-exclusive ‘PC-level’ sustained 165 FPS gameplay across AAA titles like BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, and Free Fire/Free Fire MAX. Gaming is further enhanced with ‘Edge Tech’, including a Touch Reflex Chip (3200Hz touch sampling), a 6-axis gyroscope (±4000dps) for improved shot accuracy, and a Spatial Audio Booster for better directional awareness and faster reactions.

Connectivity is driven by the G2 Wi-Fi “Range Rocket” chip for stronger performance in congested environments, along with 5G-Advanced support offering up to 3× faster speeds with partners like Reliance Jio.

The device features the same 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED “Sunburst HDR” display as the OnePlus 15, with 1800 nits HBM, up to 3600 nits peak brightness, 2 nits minimum brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort. Aqua Touch 2.0 ensures accurate touch response even with wet or sweaty fingers.

Powerbank-level Battery without the Powerbank thickness

The OnePlus Nord 6 packs the segment’s (INR 35–40K) largest 9000 mAh battery in a near-flagship thickness, delivering over 2.5 days of moderate use. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging (full charge in ~70 minutes), Bypass Charging to reduce heat during high-FPS gaming or 4K recording, and 27W wired reverse charging. A quick 10-minute charge can also provide up to 12 hours of Spotify playback with OnePlus earbuds like the Nord Buds 4 Pro.

The OnePlus Nord 6 pairs a 50MP Sony main sensor with ‘Dual-axis’ Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 32MP high-resolution front camera, each supported by an additional assistance multi-focusing hardware sensor to ensure maximum sharpness, more detailed shots even in low-light. Nord 6 captures stable, high-quality 4K video at 60 FPS, perfect for smooth action. Its 4K Motion Photo Clipper ensures you never miss the perfect moment. Equipped with a top-of-the-line flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Series chip, the Nord 6 supports the same exact advanced HDR and colour algorithms that powers the OnePlus 15 cameras.

Beyond capturing, a suite of AI-powered creative editing tools including AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Perfect Shot, and more, allows users to instantly correct common photo issues such as dim/coloured lighting, unwanted photobombers, blurry subjects (kids, animals etc), delivering share-ready images with ease.

Personalised AI Assistant and Daily Productivity

The Nord 6 deploys a similar array of AI productivity tools as per the flagship OnePlus 15. The AI experience is centred around OnePlus Mind Space. By pressing the dedicated Plus Key or swiping up with three fingers, users can instantly save any on-screen content to a unified knowledge vault. In addition, Google Gemini can now connect with Mind Space to pull information and provide personalized suggestions based on what you’ve saved- all in a single prompt. This integration turns Google Gemini into an even more powerful, context-aware personal assistant.

Alongside other AI features on the Nord 6 like real-time translation (of text, streamed or saved videos and calls, including Hindi), AI Ghostwriter, and AI Scan, it equips users with a suite of tools designed to simplify daily tasks.
