Child Help Foundation Started Centres of Excellence to Provide New Opportunities to Underprivileged Students

6th February’25, India: This initiative, driven by a mission to transform lives, seeks to empower students with academic excellence, holistic development, and digital literacy while addressing critical health and hygiene needs.

This project is being implemented in various schools across India where teachers are being appointed to transform and change the learning experience of the students, in both traditional subjects like Mathematics and English and also equip them with important digital skills. The project has benefitted 19,192 students and has been implemented in the following schools:

Bihar

     MS Koyaribigha School

      MS Maur School

      Madhya Vidhyalay Samas

      Madhya Vidhyalay Lodipur

      Tailik Girl’s School

 Goa

MBMC School No. 36 Bandarwadi School

MBMC School No. 24 Morva School

17 Ashram Schools in Vikramgad, Palghar

The project is being carried out through various collaborations and partnerships. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CHF and the government of Goa to uplift local communities through initiatives focused on education, skill development, and overall community empowerment. A similar MoU was signed with the Mira Bhainder Municipal Corporation (MBMC) for institutes in Maharashtra. Projects in Bihar were carried out, thanks to the support of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL)

Speaking on the importance of this initiative, Shaji Varghese, CEO of Child Help Foundation said, “Child Help Foundation has always supported and encouraged the right to education to all to create the foundation of empowerment. Through the Centre for Excellence Project, CHF aims to bridge the gap in learning, health, and development for these students. Our vision is to create a future where every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the tools and opportunities to thrive and achieve success in their lives.”

This initiative is not just about academics—it’s about empowering a generation with confidence, skills, and opportunities to thrive in an interconnected world. The impact of this transformative effort is already being felt, inspiring hope and redefining possibilities for students, schools, and communities.

To make sure that this project gets implemented in more schools, CHF requires support and assistance from the general public. To reach out to CHF, one can go to their website or contact them from their social media handles.
