David Cassidy says he has dementia

David Cassidy, the 66-year-old singer and actor, says he is battling dementia. The former teenage heartthrob told People magazine that dementia runs in his family, affecting both his grandfather and his mother.

David Cassidy’s disastrous family history of dementia has constantly haunted him, and now it’s here. The previous star of TV’s “The Partridge Family” said he is doing combating the memory-wrecking mind issue.

He recognized the finding in a meeting with People magazine, saying he watched his granddad battle with dementia and saw his mom “vanish” from it also.
