Brad Pitt and Demi Moore never dated, despite a rumor last year that they were on the verge of embarking on a romance. It was specifically alleged they were bonding over “sensual” yoga sessions. But as Gossip Cop said 365 days ago, the story was a complete fabrication.
On August 25, 2017, we debunked the National Enquirer for an article contending Moore reached out to Pitt shortly after his split from Angelina Jolie, and introduced him to a form of yoga that supposedly boosts one’s sex life and helps with sobriety. “Demi and Brad are getting close over intimate sober yoga sessions,” a so-called “source” was quoted as saying. The supermarket tabloid and its unidentifiable insider maintained these were “intense,” “sensual” and “electric encounters” that had Pitt “raving about the chemistry between them.”
“They are sharing a passion for yoga and each other. It’s a perfect combo,” insisted the purported tipster, who predicted, “It’s possible that Brad and Demi could go the distance” with a “proper romance.” But this tale was doubly wrong: Not only were Pitt and Moore not about to start dating, but they weren’t doing yoga together, either. A spokesperson for the actor even told Gossip Cop the narrative was “ridiculous.”
