Dr. Aishwarya Paatapati Inspiring Odyssey: A multifaceted doctor and empowering Miss India

 

Dr. Aishwarya Paatapati is a modern-day wonder woman, excelling in diverse fields as a surgeon, Miss Globe India 2023, Top Model of the World 2022 finalist, international model, and global ambassador. Representing India at Miss Globe 2023 in Albania, she broke a 7-year drought by placing India in the top 15 among 126 countries. Alongside her pageantry success, she is a dedicated MS General Surgery resident, holding a Diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians, UK. In addition, Dr. Aishwarya serves as the Executive Director of Wapati Pharma Private Limited, a company she founded to contribute to the healthcare industry.

International Model and Global Ambassador

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Aishwarya’s accomplishments range from gracing runways at London and Korea Fashion Week to serving as an Ambassador of the World Expo 2030, Busan, South Korea, promoting global cultural exchange.

A Belief in the Power of Empathy

At the Miss Globe platform in Albania, when asked about her favorite quality, Dr. Aishwarya highlighted, “I believe the quality I admire in myself is being empathetic. My profession as a surgeon, helping my patients, saving their lives, and extending help to others is what I love. Because our micro efforts have a macro effect, making an immense impact on the world.”

A Perfect Fusion of Artistry and Intellect

Born to supportive parents, Mr. P.V.V. Appala Raju and Mrs. Aparna, Aishwarya excelled in painting, music, and academics with 98% in her 12th grade. Balancing her passion for surgery at MNR Hospital with pageantry, she placed in the Top 15 at Miss Globe 2023 and won Miss Intelligent and Miss Talented. Influenced by her late grandparents, Dr. Penmetsa Prabhakar Babu and Mrs. Penmetsa Lakshmi, her decision to pursue medicine and pageantry was deeply personal. “Winning Miss Globe India was significant, but breaking a 7-year record by placing in the top 15 at Miss Globe is a testament to my resilience and hard work,” she shared.

Other Awards and Accolades

Dr. Aishwarya’s journey has been decorated with several prestigious awards:

    •    Youth Icon Award on November 3, 2023, presented by the Yuvakala Vahini organization.
    •    Swasakthi Spoorthi Award by the Governor of Haryana, His Excellency Bandaru Dattatreya, on August 30, 2024.
    •    Sevaratna Puraskaar on October 2, 2024, by Vishwaguru World Records for her outstanding contributions to cancer awareness in society.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, her true passion is serving humanity through her medical practice, charity camps, and advocacy for social causes, embodying altruism and compassion. She strongly supports employment initiatives, encouraging women in the workforce.
