Dr. Prakash Khute’s Skinroots Introduces BOOST FUE and ROBOPEN FUE in Hair Transplant Surgery

New Delhi, September 24, 2025: Skinroots Skin and Hair Transplant Clinic has announced the introduction of two new techniques, BOOST FUE and ROBOPEN FUE, aimed at improving accuracy and patient outcomes in hair restoration.

Rising Demand for Reliable Hair Transplants

Hair transplant procedures in India have grown steadily over the past decade, driven by greater awareness and demand for natural-looking results. At the same time, the sector has faced concerns about unregulated practices, with many procedures being carried out by technicians instead of doctors.

Skinroots said its approach is designed to address this issue. All hair transplant surgeries at the clinic are performed directly by qualified dermatologists, following medical protocols and ethical standards.

Details of the New Techniques

According to the clinic, the BOOST FUE technique increases follicle survival rates and helps achieve higher density in transplanted areas. This reduces the number of sittings required for patients and supports more natural results.

The ROBOPEN FUE technique, meanwhile, uses an automated device to assist in follicle placement. By reducing the margin of manual error, the method allows for greater precision and consistency. Both techniques are being offered at the clinic’s centers in Delhi and Raipur.

Doctor-Led Expertise Behind Skinroots

Skinroots was established in 2017 by Dr. Prakash Khute, a dermatologist and hair restoration surgeon with more than 12 years of experience in the field. An alumnus of AIIMS New Delhi, he has performed over 3,000 hair transplant surgeries and has treated more than 50,000 patients, including individuals from more than 20 countries.

Dr. Khute is known for his focus on natural, undetectable results and for advocating a doctor-led model in a sector where technician-driven procedures are common.

Industry Gap and Clinic’s Position

Hair restoration in India has become a popular option for both domestic and international patients, but uneven standards remain a challenge. Experts note that while demand is growing, the absence of strict regulation makes it difficult for patients to judge the safety and quality of clinics.

Skinroots says its focus is on combining updated technology with doctor-led execution. “Every procedure is carried out under medical supervision,” the clinic stated, adding that patient safety and transparency are central to its model.

The clinic currently operates in Delhi and Raipur and has plans to expand into additional cities over the next year. With new techniques such as BOOST FUE and ROBOPEN FUE, Skinroots aims to strengthen its position in a market where the demand for safe, ethical, and effective solutions continues to increase.
