Founded by the esteemed Dr. Ashok Gupta, M.S. (Ophthalmology) from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, the hospital has consistently delivered world-class eye care services under his visionary leadership. With 38 years of post-graduate experience, Dr. Gupta has steered Drishti Eye Hospital to new heights of medical distinction.

Accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) since March 2015, the hospital has set benchmarks in quality and patient care. Strategically located in Sector 10, Chandigarh, the state-of-the-art facility spans 12,000 square feet over five stories and is equipped with two elevators. It serves patients from a broad geographical region, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Chandigarh, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted regional hub for advanced eye care.

Comprehensive Eye Care Facilities

Drishti Eye Hospital caters to approximately 200 outpatients daily and performs over 3,500 major and minor surgeries annually. These include cataract, retina, glaucoma, squint correction, DCR, LASIK, and other advanced procedures. The hospital is designed to provide a seamless and comfortable experience, boasting centrally air-conditioned premises, expert ophthalmic professionals, and highly trained paramedical staff. All services adhere to stringent NABH (QCI) standards.

The Outpatient Department (OPD) is spread across three floors with ten fully equipped examination rooms. Each room features cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment tools, such as ophthalmic units, slit lamps, auto refractometers, tonometers, trial sets, indirect ophthalmoscopes, and remote vision test drums. Advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment, including OCT, VF, NCT, Pachymetry, Topography, OPD Scan, Pentacam, IOL Master, and A-Scan, ensure precise and effective treatment planning.

World-Class Surgical Infrastructure

The hospital has three modern operation theatres—two modular OTs and one dedicated LASIK OT—designed to meet international surgical standards. Equipped with HEPA filters and advanced Air Handling Units (AHU), the theatres are built in accordance with WHO sterilization guidelines, ensuring the highest levels of safety and infection control.

Inpatient care is supported by two indoor wards, accommodating a total of 12 beds. These facilities offer patients a tranquil and comfortable environment during their recovery.
