Held at the Dome SVP Stadium in Worli on August 28, the event was a vibrant testament to Fadnavis’s vision of an eco-conscious society. She successfully brought together some of India’s most influential figures—Salman Khan, Sonali Bendre, Sonu Nigam, and Kailash Kher—along with key officials like the BMC Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner, to not only laud the children’s efforts but to reinforce the message that true change starts with mindful, earth-friendly choices.

Salman Khan, a figure revered by millions, took the stage to passionately advocate for the use of natural, biodegradable materials in crafting Ganesha idols. “It is time we teach adults lessons in being earth-friendly. Let us use terracotta or other eco-friendly materials to create our Ganesha idol this year,” he declared, to the thunderous applause of the audience.
