Global Street-Food Brand, Doner Shack to Launch First India Store in Bandra, Mumbai with 100 Free Kebabs

Popular street-food brand Doner Shack will officially open its first restaurant in Mumbai on Monday, 22 September, in Bandra West, Mumbai. The launch marks the brand’s highly anticipated debut in India, bringing its cult-favourite Berlin street-food experience to the heart of the city for the very first time. To celebrate their launch, the brand will be offering 100 free kebabs on Wednesday, 24 September from 12pm.

To redeem a free kebab, guests can sign up in advance on Instagram at @donershackin. Only the first 100 customers on 24th September will be eligible, and those who do not receive a free kebab will still have the chance to win a prize with every purchase made on the day.

With only a few days to open, the team are excited for the launch of the UK brand. “Bandra is the cultural heartbeat of the city, and we knew it was the perfect place to open the first store in India,” said Anand Chandnani, Franchisee. “We’re excited to offer Mumbaikars a unique something different from the usual options in the area, that they can enjoy for lunch, dinner, or a quick bite between errands. This is just the first of many stores I plan to open across Mumbai.”

The new restaurant will serve freshly prepared Berlin inspired street food, including kebabs, loaded fries, fried chicken, and milkshakes. The menu will feature fresh bread and signature sauces, with veg and non-veg options to accommodate all. Guests can choose to dine in, order delivery or takeaway for a quick grab-and-go experience.

The Bandra opening marks Doner Shack’s first step into the Indian market, following successful launches in the USA and UK.
