How Deutsche Telekom is Opening Doors for Women to Restart Their Careers

DTDL has launched “We Rise” through which the company aims to help women get back to work through a structured pathway after taking a break.

We Rise is a comprehensive program that is tailored to help women with the challenges they face returning to work. Some of the key features of this initiative are: 

Tailored Training Modules

Participants are provided with specialized training in digital transformation and technology to ensure they are equipped with the current industry skills.

Mentorship Programs

Each participant is assigned a mentor from DTDL who provides guidance and support throughout the program.

Community Building

Participants are empowered with a community of supportive women where they can learn, connect and share experiences with like minded professionals.

Additional Initiatives for Women by DTDL

Leap Ahead: This structured program aims to help participants realize their professional goals through personalized mentorship, skill development, and networking opportunities.

Magenta Women Employee Resource Group (ERG): This employee resource group provides a robust support network, resources for personal and professional growth, and opportunities for collaboration among women in various roles across DTDL.

While these initiatives do reflect DTDL’s commitment to building an inclusive workplace for women, they also have multiple policies specific to women that create an equitable workplace.

DTDL also offers benefits and policies tailored specifically for returning mothers. Extended maternity leaves, daycare support, and adoption support that make women feel secure in the workplace.
