Hyderabad Witnesses Massive Turnout as Yuva Bharat Run Brings Together 20,000 Participants in a Youth-Led Fitness Movement

Hyderabad: In a powerful display of collective energy and intent, over 20,000 participants gathered in Hyderabad on the morning of March 29 for the Yuva Bharat Run, marking it as one of the largest youth-led fitness movements in the country.

Starting at 6:00 AM, the city saw a vibrant mix of students, families, fitness communities, and institutions come together, not just for a run, but for a larger idea: building a culture of fitness and discipline among India’s youth.

The scale of participation reflected strong grassroots engagement:

  • 50+ schools and 6 universities
  • 30 NGOs and orphanages, ensuring inclusivity at the core
  • 30 corporates stepping in to support the movement
  • 20+ run clubs and fitness groups driving on-ground energy

From early morning stretches to waves of runners moving in unison, the event transformed into a visual celebration of movement, a rare moment where thousands chose action over routine.

At a time when sedentary lifestyles are becoming the norm, Yuva Bharat Run stood out as a real-world shift, bringing people out of screens and into shared physical experiences.

The initiative, led by Yasasvi Malka, is positioning itself as more than a one-day event. It is building toward a long-term cultural movement where fitness becomes a natural part of everyday life for young India. The initiative also draws strength from the broader vision and guidance of Shri Malka Komaraiah ji, BJP Deputy Floor Leader, MLC and Chairman associated with the Pallavi and DPS ecosystem.

Speaking after the event, Yasasvi Malka said:

“Seeing over 20,000 people come together is a strong reminder that the youth of this country are ready. Yuva Bharat Run is not just a run, it is a statement. A culture in the making.”

Adding depth beyond physical fitness, Heartfulness brought in the dimension of mental wellbeing, reinforcing the idea that true health lies in balancing both body and mind. The initiative was represented by Dr. Nivedita Shreyans, Director of Youth Programs and Public Relations at Heartfulness.

The event was graced by prominent dignitaries including Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Governor of Telangana, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, former Vice President of India, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Mines, Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana Minister for IT and Industries, and actor Sharwanand.

Supported by national initiatives like Fit India and MY Bharat, along with strong institutional participation, Yuva Bharat Run is rapidly emerging as a platform that connects schools, colleges, corporates, and communities under one shared vision.

With this momentum, the movement is now set to expand across cities, aiming to engage a larger section of India’s youth in the coming months.
