Ahmedabad, India– In a bold step to reshape India’s global trade ambitions, Mr. Kavit Shah, founder of Direct Exim Trade (DXT), has concluded a high-impact visit to Malaysia, aimed at identifying new trade prospects and enhancing bilateral business ties. His strategic outreach underscored Malaysia’s growing significance as a launchpad for Indian entrepreneurs entering the international marketplace.
Positioned between Singapore and Thailand, Malaysia offers robust infrastructure, cultural inclusivity, and forward-thinking trade policies—key factors that make it a favorable destination for import-export businesses. Mr. Shah emphasized that Malaysia acts as a gateway between developing and developed economies, offering superior facilities compared to regional competitors like Vietnam and Thailand.
Highlighting Malaysia’s multicultural business environment—comprising approximately 45% Chinese, 45% traditional Malays, and 10% Indian population—Mr. Shah noted the nation’s inclusive and business-friendly approach. Strong China-Malaysia trade links coexist with growing India-Malaysia relations, and both the Indian Chamber of Commerce and local EXIM authorities actively support new ventures.
During his visit, Mr. Shah toured Port Klang, one of Southeast Asia’s largest ports, and several wholesale hubs in Kuala Lumpur. He observed how easily Indian entrepreneurs can enter the Malaysian market—simply by leasing retail space in major trading zones and directly importing goods from India. “Starting your own sales operations in Malaysia is much more accessible than most imagine,” he remarked.
The visit had two key goals: supporting India’s palm oil import initiatives and promoting export-import (EXIM) business models among Malaysian stakeholders. Through DXT, Mr. Shah is facilitating buyer-supplier connections and offering full-service support for newcomers on both sides of the trade.
Direct Exim Trade is fast emerging as a game-changer in the EXIM ecosystem. Tailored for beginners, DXT provides a comprehensive roadmap to launch a trade business from scratch. From documentation and logistics to compliance and sourcing, the program includes lifetime mentorship and real-world buyer network access—making it a complete one-stop solution.
In a groundbreaking move, Mr. Shah is launching India’s largest and only 100% free Export-Import training program, scheduled for May 11th in Ahmedabad. While most industry courses range from ₹20,000 to ₹45,000, this initiative stands out as a generous effort to make global business education accessible to all.
The training will cover:
Core fundamentals of Export-Import business
Actionable trade strategies and real-world insights
No fees, no upselling, no hidden costs
The event has sparked immense interest nationwide. Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
