Mirchi Powers Adani Group’s ‘Hum Karke Dikhate Hain’ Spirit with World’s First Live Solar-Powered Radio Studio

In a first-of-its-kind celebration of grit, innovation, and sustainable progress, Mirchi, India’s leading entertainment brand, joined hands with the Adani Group to amplify the launch of their third film  Suraj Bhaiya Hain Naa, celebrating the spirit of Hum Karke Dikhate Hain. The campaign swept across 30+ Indian cities, powered by a unique mix of radio, digital, and on-ground activations, along with an unprecedented digital takeover by 100 Mirchi RJs who together created 200+ content pieces. On the digital front, the initiative drew massive engagement, with 2.5 million+ views amplifying the spirit of Hum Karke Dikhate Hain far beyond the radio campaign and live events. All of this was further amplified by the World’s First Live Solar-Powered Radio Studio in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, powered by the sun, our very own Suraj Bhaiya!

Mirchi set up the world’s first fully solar-powered live radio studio in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, at Gurudwara Crossroads, Thaltej, on 8th August, showcasing how renewable energy can energize not just agriculture, hospitals, and schools but also entertainment.

The unique initiative was a part of the campaign to highlight the importance of clean energy and celebrate the role of Suraj Bhaiya in transforming lives. The entire setup was powered completely by solar panels, making it a truly zero-emission broadcast.

The live show was hosted by Mirchi’s popular RJs, RJ Krutarth and RJ Urvi, who engaged listeners and onlookers with fun conversations, interactive activities, and trivia about solar energy. The duo brought alive inspiring stories of how Suraj Bhaiya is helping communities, while also shining a spotlight on Adani Group’s pioneering work in making renewable energy accessible and impactful.

The Solar-Powered Studio journey didn’t stop in Ahmedabad. Following its success, Adani and Mirchi took the experience to Mumbai on 13th August 2025 at BMC Selfie Point. The city’s beloved RJ Jeeturaj brought the signature energy and charm to the show, delivering more fun, more engagement, and more sunshine-powered entertainment all in the true spirit of Hum Karke Dikhate Hain.

This initiative also reflected Adani Group’s unwavering spirit of “Hum Karke Dikhate Hain”  a commitment to turning bold ideas into reality against all odds. By powering an entire live broadcast purely through solar energy, Adani and Mirchi proved that innovation and determination can truly lead the way towards a greener tomorrow.

The campaign achieved remarkable scale and impact across other radio and digital platforms. On the other hand, we received an overwhelming 100+ UGC Solar stories, reflecting the strong emotional connection the campaign established.

At the heart of this campaign lies Adani’s newly launched solar film, which highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to renewable energy and sustainability. As the film paints a hopeful picture of India’s solar future, Mirchi RJs stood united in echoing the spirit of  ‘Hum Karke Dikhate Hain.
