Israel has attracted universal feedback late weeks for deadly strategies utilized amid conflicts with Palestinians along the fringe with Gaza. Thirty-one Palestinians have been murdered and hundreds more injured. Israel says it is doing what it must to guard its fringe.
In an announcement on its site, the establishment that honors the Genesis Prize cited a delegate for Portman as saying: “Recent events in Israel have been extremely distressing to her and she does not feel comfortable participating in any public events in Israel.”
It gave no further points of interest of her reasons. An email to Portman’s marketing expert in Los Angeles looking for additional data was not quickly replied.
