A letter released Wednesday uncovers that Tupac Shakur said a final farewell to Madonna since she is white.
Madonna said in 2015 that she dated Tupac before his 1996 death, yet didn’t clarify why they split. The 1995 letter, distributed by TMZ Wednesday, does.
Written from jail at 4:30 a.m., the letter to Madonna starts with a statement of regret.
“I haven’t been the kind of friend I know I am capable of being,” wrote Shakur, who spent nine months in prison for sexual abuse.
