Plasto 2025 Opened its door  on 8th January 2025 targeting Plastics in Automotive Industry in Pune

German Automotive and Polymer Industry is Looking Pune as an Automotive Hub to Expand Business with SMEs and MSMEs

Pune, Maharashtra – The eagerly awaited PLASTO 2025 – Techno Polymer Exhibition & Conference is set to open its doors at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC) in Moshi from January 8 to January 11, 2025. Organized by the Association for the Promotion of Plastics (APP), a non-profit organization committed to the welfare of the plastics industry, this year’s event promises to be bigger and more impactful than ever before.

Having established itself as a premier event for the plastics sector since its inception in 1989, PLASTO is the go-to platform for launching new products, showcasing innovation, and connecting with industry leaders. PLASTO 2025 will bring together over 300 exhibitors from across the world, covering an expansive 100,000 square feet, with more than 30,000 visitors expected to attend the four-day event.

Mr. Ajay Zod, Chairman of PLASTO 2025, shared his excitement about the scale and diversity of this year’s exhibition. “We’re hosting a wide range of exhibitors, representing the best in their fields. The exhibition hall spans 100,000 square feet, with categories ranging from robotics and automation to raw materials and plastic packaging machines.” Mr. Zod further added, this is a one stop exhibition for manufacturers and suppliers and all stakeholders. Our vision is to support sustainable development and circular economy. 

He highlighted that the event will cater to a broad spectrum of sectors with nearly 300 exhibitors, who will showcase innovations in the following categories:

German automotive and polymer producers are looking Pune as an automotive hub and to expand business in those regions with SME and MSMES said Mr. Ginu Joseph, Vice President German Indian Plastics and Polymers e. V.

SMEs have always played a pivotal role in driving innovation within the plastics industry, and PLASTO 2025 will place a special focus on nurturing this segment. “Focusing on SMEs means fostering a diverse ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation, which is essential for building a vibrant and resilient plastics industry,” explained Mr. Ginu Joseph, Chairman of the Media Committee, Plasto 2025 and Vice President of German Indian Plastics and Polymers e.V., a German association dedicated to promoting cross-country business in plastics, packaging, and sustainably. “Our pavilion will emphasize recycling as a critical area of focus, showcasing innovations in recycling technology and sustainability efforts,” Mr. Joseph further added.

Recycling Pavilion: Driving the Circular Economy

One of the most exciting features of PLASTO 2025 will be the Recycling Pavilion, a dedicated space for promoting the transition towards a circular economy. By bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders, the pavilion aims to encourage the adoption of closed-loop systems, where plastics are recycled, remanufactured, repurposed, or upcycled at the end of their lifecycle.
