Rebel Wilson is battling back.
The “Pitch Perfect” star has recorded a claim against Bauer Media for maligning, asserting that a progression of magazine articles distributed by the organization cost her film parts by painting her as a serial liar.
Wilson’s lawsuit, Renee Enbom, said amid a court hearing on Friday that the Australian-conceived on-screen character would exhibit prove that the articles distributed by Bauer Media in 2015 prompted her film contracts being ended.
Wilson’s claim, recorded a year ago, blames the Australian distributer for harming her notoriety by printing articles that asserted she had utilized a fake name and lied about her age and childhood in Australia. The articles seemed on the web and in print in a few Australian magazines including Woman’s Day and The Australian Women’s Weekly.
