Shriram Farm Solutions Launches 2 New Specialty Plant Nutrition products, Corn Seed & shares success on Key Crop Protection launched in 2024

MP, 31 May, 2025: Shriram Farm Solutions, a division of the DCM Shriram Ltd., launched its new age  Specialty Plant Nutrition products & shared the farmer success with Shriram Crop Protection & Seed Products launched in recent past. The event took place at Hotel Pride, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh where prominent channel partners from the region convened to witness the electrifying launch of these innovative solutions. Not only this, 125+ distributors as well as viewers online witnessed the grand prize distribution ceremony of Shriram Super Wheat Seed Scheme of Central Zone.

In step with the pressing needs of Indian farmers and the national vision for sustainable agriculture, the company introduced two advanced liquid fertilizers – ‘SHRIRAM PICASOL’ and ‘SHRIRAM MAGNICA’. Both products are India’s first to feature Bioactive Titanium, developed through a patented technology. Titanium enhances plant resilience to environmental stress, enabling more efficient nutrient use and better returns for farmers. ‘SHRIRAM PICASOL’ focuses on intensifying fruit colour and boosting uniformity, while ‘SHRIRAM MAGNICA’ addresses fruit deformities and extends shelf life – two critical issues for export and premium markets.

The company received an overwhelmingly positive response from thousands of growers and channel partners following the launch of its innovative insecticides, Shriram Chrone and Shriram Trexter, last year. Channel partners were particularly enthusiastic about the testimonials showcasing the pre-commercialization trials of Shriram Saisho, a patented insecticide developed in Japan.

In a move to further strengthen its weed management and insecticide portfolio, the company announced the launch of Shriram Acriter, a selective herbicide designed to control problematic weeds in maize and sugarcane. Additionally, Shriram Togyo was introduced as a specialized solution for the effective management of Motha (Cyperus rotundus), a notoriously difficult-to-control weed. Further enhancing its broad-spectrum offerings, the company launched a unique Seed dresser Shriram Verlust targeting fungal diseases as well as insects

The company also launched a high performing hybrid varieties Shriram 9705 Corn and Shriram 8870 Bajra seed which has created a wave of excitement among the community. Farmers success of other key hybrids like Shriram 754 Gold paddy and Shriram 8866 bajra seeds were also shared. In Vegetable seed business, high virus tolerant variety Shriram Heena tomato and Shriram 2112 Bhindi launched in recent past has given significant benefit to the farmers.

These new product introductions mark a strategic step towards empowering Indian farmers to grow more, both — sustainably and profitably.
