Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions Contributes Rs. 7 Lakhs to Kerala CM’s Wayanad Landslide Relief Fund

In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, Pondicherry, has extended its support to the victims of the recent Wayanad landslides in Kerala. A total donation of Rs. 7 lakhs was handed over to the Chief Minister of Kerala Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan to aid in relief efforts. This contribution comprises Rs. 1.65 lakhs raised by the students and faculty members, and Rs. 5.35 lakhs donated by the management of Institution’s Trust.

The donation was officially presented by Dr. S. Ratnasamy, Director of the Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, under the guidance and direction of the institution’s Chairman, Shri B. Ramachandiran. The funds are intended to support rehabilitation efforts and provide much-needed relief to those affected by the devastating landslides in the Wayanad region.

The Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, based in Pondicherry, is renowned for its diverse educational offerings, including its Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, Indirani College of Nursing, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences, Physiotherapy College and Pharmacy College. By contributing to the relief fund, the institution has demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility, standing with those in need during times of natural disasters.
