Srishti 2025 Concludes on a High Note: A Grand Showcase of Innovation, Technology, and Talent

BANGALORE, 6th JUNE 2025; Srishti 2025, the much-anticipated state-level innovation and technology festival hosted by Acharya Institute of Technology, concluded with resounding success after three power-packed days of inspiration, competition, and collaboration. The event was organized in association with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Vidyarthi Shikshana Seva Trust (VSS Trust) and brought together over 1500 students from 150+ engineering colleges across Karnataka.

Set against the backdrop of Acharya Institute of Technology’s 120-acre green campus, Srishti 2025 featured more than 20 competitions, ranging from robotics and sustainability-focused projects to startup pitching, coding marathons, and a high-adrenaline 36-hour hackathon. With ₹25 lakhs in prize money on offer, students showcased breakthrough innovations and demonstrated their ability to think beyond conventional academic boundaries.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of prominent dignitaries including Dr. Vidhya Shankar S, Vice Chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU); Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of the National Educational Technology Forum (NETF); Sri Jai Kishan Agnihotri, Vice President of Volvo Group; and Dr. C K Marigowda, Principal of AIT, among others.

Speaking at the event, Dr. C K Marigowda said, “Srishti 2025 has been a remarkable celebration of innovation, knowledge, and collaboration. The participation of over 1500 students from across the state and their high-quality projects have made this a truly memorable experience. Our students also played a major role in organizing the event, ensuring flawless execution.”

The festival’s highlights included cutting-edge robotics demonstrations, sustainability-driven innovations, technical quizzes, and socially conscious project presentations. Participants demonstrated strong analytical, creative, and teamwork skills throughout. The hackathon, in particular, saw students working intensively on real-world problem statements, developing functional prototypes under time pressure.

The diversity of ideas—from eco-friendly engineering solutions to AI-driven applications—reflected the rich talent pool nurtured at AIT and its partner institutions. The event also served as a dynamic platform to foster collaboration between academia, industry, and young innovators.

Srishti 2025 also aligns with the missions of ABVP and VSS Trust to promote education, character-building, and national development through non-formal learning and student engagement. These organizations have played a crucial role in empowering youth to think critically and act responsibly in the changing global landscape.

With its successful conclusion, Srishti 2025 reaffirmed Acharya Institute of Technology’s commitment to holistic education that goes beyond textbooks, combining technical knowledge with creativity, values, and leadership.
