Australia’s Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is set to get a Hollywood star in his respect.
Mr Irwin was well known for his preservation work, as he initiated endeavors to convey attention to the significance of natural life. He kicked the bucket in 2006 after a stingray tail pierced his heart.
The Walk of Fame Committee declared the choice on Friday morning (nearby time), refering to his “extraordinary commitment to media outlets through his untamed life documentaries”.
The minute his family got the news was taped and presented on Terri Irwin’s Twitter account.
“We’re in the middle of nowhere so we have no phone signal but we do have a tiny amount of wifi,” Bindi Irwin says.
