Strengthening the Fight Against TB: Our Ongoing Commitment Towards TBMuktBharat

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health challenge, but with consistent efforts, awareness, and community participation, we are moving closer to the vision of a TB-Free India by 2025. Aligned with the Government of India’s National TB Elimination Program (NTEP), we have been relentlessly working to spread awareness, educate communities, and empower individuals to take action against TB.

Our Key Initiatives So Far

Engaging Young Minds: We conducted awareness and quiz sessions at DPS Damanjodi, Alumina Girls High School, and SVM NALCO, ensuring students understand TB elimination strategies. Their enthusiasm and participation have been a testament to the power of knowledge in disease prevention.

Strengthening Workplace Awareness: At CISF Suraksha Vihar, Damanjodi, we held a session with 40 CISF personnel, including senior inspectors and the Commanding Officer, reinforcing TB awareness among our nation’s security forces.

Mobilizing Healthcare & Institutions: At NALCO Hospital, Damanjodi, doctors and hospital staff took the pledge for TB elimination and participated in awareness sessions. A special seminar in collaboration with Youth Red Cross (YRC) of SVM was organized under NALCO’s CSR initiative, where Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Dash (TB Nodal Officer) led the charge in creating TB elimination ambassadors to take this mission further.

Community Outreach & Public Awareness: In addition to educational institutions and workplaces, we have also been expanding our outreach through poster presentations, human chain formations, and pledge ceremonies, ensuring a multi-layered approach to TB awareness.

Our Continued Efforts Aligned with Government Guidelines

We are committed to working hand-in-hand with the Government of India’s TB Elimination Roadmap, ensuring that all our activities align with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under NTEP.

Our future events will extend public awareness campaigns into communities, ensuring that information reaches every household and stigma around TB is eliminated.

We are actively calling for volunteers to expand our reach and mobilize grassroots-level awareness efforts, making TB elimination a community-driven mission.

TB is Preventable. TB is Curable. Awareness is the First Step!

With sustained action, collaboration, and public engagement, we remain dedicated to making TBMuktBharat a reality. Together, we can and we will eliminate TB!

Join Us in This Mission – Because Every Effort Counts!
