Superkicks Unveils New Flagship Store in Mumbai: Where Streetwear Meets Culture, Community & Creativity

It’s been seven years since Superkicks first disrupted the retail landscape in Mumbai with the launch of their first store in Khar, marking a pivotal moment in India’s streetwear story. Now, Superkicks Mumbai has moved to a bigger space, starting an exciting new chapter. This new Mumbai flagship store is all set to be a dynamic cultural destination.

This latest outpost is more than just a sneaker store; it’s a lifestyle space that celebrates fashion, creativity, and Mumbai’s thriving independent art and music scene. Thoughtfully designed and rooted in the city’s spirit, the flagship merges global street culture with homegrown influences. Superkicks has always championed the scene behind the scenes, the late nights, first drafts, and quiet obsession. This space is a tribute to those who create for the kicks, not the clicks.

Spread across over 2,800 square feet, the flagship is designed as a “Fusion Lab” that harmoniously blends the timeless charm of Bandra’s colonial architecture with the kinetic energy of modern street culture. Its monochrome blue interiors, inspired by Mumbai’s seas and streets, create a mood-driven experience that reflects the city’s dynamic identity. The store’s interiors blend heritage with modernity, drawing inspiration from Portuguese architecture with mosaic tile accents, arched windows, and a sweeping grand staircase that brings a sense of vintage fluidity and nostalgia. Gothic-style product fixtures echo the charm of old Bandra homes, while an upcoming mural by a local artist will further root the space in its neighbourhood’s creative energy. With plans to introduce sculptural installations by local talent, the space goes beyond retail, offering a culturally immersive environment that reflects both the brand’s identity and the spirit of the city it calls home.

The store unites a meticulously curated roster of both global icons and homegrown disruptors. From sneaker powerhouses like Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, and Asics to cult international labels such as Carhartt, Aries, Represent, and FDMTL alongside India’s streetwear innovators like Jaywalking, Farak, Thaely, and Almost Gods—this destination reflects a vibrant streetwear universe.

Over the last couple of years, Superkicks’ in-house apparel prowess has grown significantly. The brand has launched multiple themed and season-level apparel drops, as well as collaborations with other brands such as Budweiser and Zomaland. This thoughtful curation positions Superkicks at the forefront of India’s streetwear movement, bridging global influences with local creativity.

Nisha Lulla, CMO & Co-founder of Superkicks, shares:

“Our new Mumbai flagship has been our most ambitious project yet – our labour of love. This is an ode to the city where we opened our first store, and to our community who have supported us through all the highs and lows of our journey so far. Mumbai was our first home turf and we couldn’t wait to give it a space which matched its spirit and stature. It’s surreal to see our vision finally come to life.”

Sangeet Paryani, CEO & Co-founder of Superkicks, adds:

“The last 7 years have been a journey of self-discovery for us. We wanted a space to represent the energy, telling the world that we’re ‘here for the kicks’ – to celebrate the process of creation and all the emotions that come with it. At its heart, this flagship reflects Superkicks’ dedication to nurturing the community that has defined us. It’s where product, passion, and purpose unite – a space built to spark dialogue, fuel expression, and bring creative culture to life.”

Designed in collaboration with Restore Design, the space goes beyond retail to become a cultural catalyst. From live music and brand-led events to exclusive drops, activations, and celebrations, the new Mumbai store is poised to become  an iconic destination for creative communities in Mumbai and beyond.

Enhancing the in-store experience is The Wholesome Pantry café by I Am Wholesome India, helmed by sisters Manpreet Dhody and Anupreet Dhody. Celebrated for their artful approach to food, where flavour, design and storytelling meet, they have curated a menu that transforms everyday dining into a wholesome indulgence. Reflecting the store’s ethos of creativity, community and quality, the café offers thoughtfully designed food and beverage options, making it an inviting space to pause, connect, and fully immerse in the Superkicks experience.

New Store Address: Fairfield, Shop no.2, Ground floor & first floor, Junction of Swami Vivekanand Road and Ram Krishna Mission Road., Santacruz West, Mumbai 400054
