TGI Fressotel Enters Maheshwar – Transaction Powered by EffoLogic

TGI Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new hotel project in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, to be operated under the Fressotel by TGI Hotels brand. The project is promoted and being developed by Mahajan Group of Maheshwar, Led By Mr. Vallabh Mahajan, marking it’s entry into the hospitality sector, in addition to Real Estate, Gems & Jewellery.

The upcoming Fressotel Maheshwar property will feature well-appointed rooms, a rooftop restaurant, banquet facilities, a gym, and supporting public spaces, catering to both domestic and international travelers visiting this historic town on the banks of the Narmada River. Maheshwar, located on the Banks of river Narmada in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, is one of Central India’s most revered and picturesque heritage destinations. The town is famous for the Ahilya Fort, the historic seat of the Holkar dynasty, and the magnificent ghats along the Narmada River. It is globally known for the traditional Maheshwari handloom sarees, woven by local artisans for centuries.

The town forms an integral part of the Omkareshwar–Maheshwar–Mandleshwar tourism circuit, attracting lakhs of visitors annually for its blend of spiritual significance, riverfront beauty, and architectural heritage. The agreement between TGI Hotels Group and the project promoter was formally signed earlier in October month. The new property aligns with TGI Hotels’ strategy to expand its presence across key cultural and spiritual destinations in India, complementing its recent Fressotel property announcement in Bhopal.
