The Rise of Ravi Raushan: India’s “Psycho Detective” in Cybersecurity

Ravi Raushan, renowned as the “Psycho Detective,” is reshaping the landscape of cybersecurity and criminal investigations in India. As a Special Crime Investigator at the Crime Investigation Bureau in Kerala and a Cybersecurity Trainee at the Cyber Crime Agency (CCA), Ravi has a remarkable record, having solved over 500 high-profile cybercrime cases. His expertise encompasses various cyber threats, including identity theft, ransomware attacks, phishing scams, and activities on the dark web. He has tackled complex issues such as financial crimes, online fraud, and cyber terrorism, making him a crucial figure in the fight against digital crime.

 

Ravi’s academic background plays a significant role in his success. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Chandigarh University and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Cyber/Computer Forensics from the University of Michigan. His dedication to continuous learning is evident through his numerous professional certifications in areas like dark web security, cryptocurrency, and penetration testing from esteemed organizations such as EC-Council and Cisco. His specialized training has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both offensive and defensive cybersecurity strategies, enabling him to effectively address a wide range of cyber threats.

Beyond his investigative role, Ravi is also a pioneer in cybersecurity education. As the Founder and CEO of Cyber & Forensics Security Solutions (CFSS), he has transformed how cybersecurity training is conducted in India. CFSS focuses on hands-on learning and real-world experience, training over 10,000 individuals globally. Ravi emphasizes affordable education, making high-quality cybersecurity training accessible to underprivileged communities. His organization’s programs are centered on project-based learning, preparing trainees for real-life challenges in cybersecurity roles. Through CFSS, Ravi aims to cultivate a new generation of cybersecurity professionals who are equipped to handle today’s complex threat landscape.

 

Additionally, Ravi’s commitment to raising cybersecurity awareness has led him to establish the Crime Investigation Army (CIA). Through this initiative, he offers training and services to government agencies, schools, and tech companies across India. His impactful webinars have educated law enforcement agencies, including police departments and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on effective cyber defense strategies. By fostering a culture of cyber resilience, Ravi is addressing the urgent need for enhanced cybersecurity measures as cybercrime rates continue to rise in India. His efforts are not only shaping the future of cybersecurity in India but are also setting new benchmarks globally.
