Angelina Jolie is feeling the loss of her late mother in the midst of her separation.
The 41-year-old on-screen character examined late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, in a meeting with Elle France taking after her part from spouse Brad Pitt.
“She would have thrived as a grandmother,” Jolie, who shares six children with Pitt, said of Bertrand. “I know how much she would have contributed to their lives and I am sad they will miss out on that.”
“I would give anything for her to be with me at this time. I’ve needed her,” she confessed. “I talk to her often in my mind and try to think what she might say and how she might guide me.”
