TiE Kolkata Hosts Grand Finale of TiE University (TiEU) Program 2025

Kolkata, 5January 2026: TiE Kolkata successfully hosted the Grand Finale of the TiE University (TiEU) Program 2025, celebrating innovation and entrepreneurial excellence among young founders across the region. The program this year received 57 high-quality applications, out of which 11 shortlisted teams pitched their ventures at the finale.

A total cash prize worth ₹3 lakhs was awarded to the winning teams, further reinforcing TiE Kolkata’s commitment to supporting emerging student entrepreneurs.

The Finale brought together an accomplished jury panel comprising:

• Mr. Nipun Kochar, Founder & CEO, Jewelbox
• Mr. Karan Walia, Co-founder, ShipZip Logistics
• Ms. Punam Kanodia, Founder, NewsePick

After a series of impressive pitches, the top three winners of the TiEU Program 2025 were announced:

• Winner: Team Patchif AI – IIT Kharagpur
• 1st Runner-up: Team Sabass Venture – Calcutta Business School
• 2nd Runner-up: Team Armor – Heritage Instittute of Technology

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Atul Gupta, President of TiE Kolkata, who addressed the gathering and congratulated the participants for their creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit. Mr. Dipak Agarwal, Chair of the TiEU Program, also addressed the audience, highlighting TiE Kolkata’s mission of fostering a strong ecosystem for student-led innovation.

The TiE University Program continues to serve as a platform that nurtures aspiring entrepreneurs through mentorship, masterclasses, and real-world exposure, enabling them to transform ideas into impactful ventures.

The winner will participate in TiE Global Summit happening in Jaipur from 4-6 Jan 2026 to represent TiE Kolkata and win global prize of $25,000/-
