TIRUN Travel Marketing’s Varun Chadha wins ‘Excellence in Cruise Leadership’ at India Travel Awards 2025, reinforcing India’s cruise tourism growth story

India, September 17, 2025: Varun Chadha, CEO of TIRUN Travel Marketing, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Excellence in Cruise Leadership’ award at the India Travel Awards 2025, presented by the Honourable Minister of Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

This recognition highlights Varun Chadha’s leadership in shaping TIRUN’s journey in opening up the world with its experiences to travellers.

As the exclusive India representatives of globally renowned cruise lines: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Silversea, and Azamara Cruises, TIRUN has introduced Indian travellers to some of the world’s most innovative ships and sought-after destinations, redefining the concept of vacations.

Expressing his gratitude, Varun Chadha, CEO, TIRUN Travel Marketing said, “This honour belongs to the entire TIRUN family, our partners, and everyone who believes in the potential of TIRUN – and of course, cruising in India. The award is also a reminder of the responsibility we carry, to keep inspiring, and making extraordinary holidays even more accessible to Indian travellers.”

With this accolade, TIRUN reaffirms its position as a leader in shaping experiential travel in India, staying committed to creating journeys that combine innovation, personalisation, and customer delight.

About TIRUN Travel Marketing

TIRUN Travel Marketing is the pioneer of cruises in India and the exclusive representative of four iconic cruise brands – three from the Royal Caribbean Group (Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea), along with Azamara Cruises. We drive sales and marketing through multiple distribution channels, from tour operators and travel agents to digital platforms, while also managing government relations and providing operational support for our brands.

Founded in 1991 as Discover the World Marketing, TIRUN initially offered a boutique portfolio of global travel products, including US Airways, Hyatt Hotels, Hertz, and Universal Studios. But in 2001, we made a decisive switch to focus exclusively on cruises – doubling down on a category that was still nascent in India at the time. This defining move has shaped our journey ever since, and today, our goal is to make TIRUN the name that comes top-of-mind whenever India thinks of cruising.

Headquartered in New Delhi, with a pan-India presence, we are deeply passionate about the world of cruising. With most of the planet covered by water, we believe that if you haven’t cruised, you haven’t truly seen the world.
