Turning Roots into Results: The Social Enterprise of Heaven Herbs

What happens when entrepreneurship meets empathy? You get Heaven Herbs — a wellness brand that’s redefining success by placing values before profits. At the heart of this inspiring venture is Rajan Richi Kalia, a passionate entrepreneur from Chintpurni Dham, Himachal Pradesh, who is building a business that heals not only the body but also the community and the environment.

Rajan’s academic journey began at Government College Dhaliara, District Kangra, followed by an MBA in Human Resources from Punjab University. Like many business graduates, he had the credentials to enter the corporate world, but he chose a different path. He returned to his roots, both literally and spiritually, and founded Heaven Herbs — a brand inspired by nature, Ayurvedic wisdom, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

Heaven Herbs specializes in organic green teas, pure Chandan (sandalwood) incense sticks, Himachali Guggal dhoop, and alcohol-free fragrances. Each product reflects the brand’s ethos — pure, eco-conscious, and rooted in Indian traditions. These handcrafted products are now sold at airports in Pune and Gujarat, earning recognition among health-conscious travelers and wellness seekers across the country.

But Heaven Herbs is more than just a business; it’s a mission-driven social enterprise. Rajan is also the President of God’s Army, a dedicated social club with over 700 active members. Under his leadership, the club works in tandem with the company to bring positive change to society. A remarkable 25% of Heaven Herbs’ profits are invested in social causes — especially focused on sponsoring education for underprivileged students and conducting tree plantation drives throughout Himachal Pradesh and nearby regions.

This commitment to community upliftment makes Heaven Herbs a rare example of ethical entrepreneurship. In a world where businesses often prioritize profit margins, Rajan’s model shows that it is possible to earn sustainably while giving back generously.

One of the brand’s standout achievements in 2024 was its sale of ₹50 lakh worth of neem wood combs and toothbrushes. Not only did this reduce the use of plastic, but it also promoted Ayurvedic self-care routines, encouraging consumers to embrace traditional wellness solutions that are gentle on the earth.

Through Heaven Herbs, Rajan has built a bridge between tradition and modern wellness, between commerce and compassion. His efforts serve as an inspiring reminder that businesses can — and should — play a role in social development.

As the demand for clean, green, and meaningful products grows, Heaven Herbs stands tall as a brand that delivers more than just quality — it delivers hope, healing, and harmony.

Rajan Richi Kalia’s journey is proof that true success isn’t just measured in revenue, but in the roots you nurture and the lives you touch.
