Vitthalrao Langhe Patil, The most Prominent Politician for NEWASA

221, Newasa Assembly Constituency of Maharashtra Vidhansabha is always at the centre point of district and State’s politics.  It was represented by renowned politicians like Late Balasaheb Bharde, Late Tukaram Gadakh. Geographically it is situated on the banks of river like Mula, Pravara and Godawari. It is a sugarcane hub and has two sugar factories, on which thousands of farmers are dependent for their livelihood. This is one of the main reasons of political clashes and political thriller during elections. 

The established sugar barrons want controll on all economic centres and power houses of Neaswa.

The greed of sugar mafias has destroyed the lives of thousands of farmers, students, women and citizens of newasa taluka. Despite of being a holy place where literature like Gyaneshwari was created, Newasa has now become a synonym of Bihar of earlier 90s!   The established sugar barrons has spoiled the new generation with all possible means of illicit liquor, gambling, free non veg food, free money without work, etc. 

During election campaigns the young generation of nevasa is manipulated for the power grid of 2nd generation of established politicians. 

There is no infrastructure development, no agriculture infrastructure for increasing farmer’s income and no new projects in “so so called” MIDC area!

As there are no jobs available in the vicinity, educated youths have to leave newasa for earning bread and butter.

In the coming election of 2024, a ray of hope is seen at the end of tunnel! 

The government under leadership of Chief Minister Shri Eknath ji Shinde, state is progressing on many fronts.

As the MLA of newasa was completely useless, as he skipped the Meetings of Council of Ministers and also Sessions of Vidhansabha, during 2019- 24. He was a “top missing member” of Council of Ministers and Vidhansabha, according to the media reports.

To avoid this problem शिवसेना has nominated Shri Vitthal Vakilrao Langhe Patil as balanced and progressive leadership. His father also was member of Vidhansabha in 70s. During his tenure, two landmark decisions were made. 

(1) New law for Relief and rehabilitation of people affected by developmental projects, was coined. The term and process of helping people affected due to developmental projects was then applied across the governments of all states and countries. 

(2) The last state transport depot (S.T. Depot) was created for Newasa. After this, till today no new Depot is allotted.

The legacy of progressive thoughts and development politics is being well carried by Mr Vitthalrao Langhe Patil. During his tenure as a president of Zilla Parishad *he has served the rural areas of nevasa with drinking water supply schemes, rural roads, rural health centres PHCs and Anganwadi, etc.

On 20th November, the youngsters and the youth entrepreneur of nevasa have decided to vote for Vitthalrao Langhe Patil as Shivsena Candidate on Dhanushyaban symbol.
