WE ARE WITH YOU’ – A Heartfelt Condolences Planned for Doctors Lost in Ahmedabad Crash.

The medical community across India is  devastated and saddened by the loss of young doctors and medical students in the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash that shadow the whole of India with grief and irreplaceable human losses.

Through MedscapeIndia – Aryan Medical & Educational Trust has planned a national initiative to support the victim’s families.

Initiative is Spearheaded under the leadership of Founder Dr. Sunita Dube, 

the organization making a small effort through “BJ Medical Relief Fund” and It will hold a tribute in its upcoming annual conclave.

The tragic incident occurred when a plane crashed into the mess hall of BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, striking the “future of the medical profession” during their mealtime. The unforeseen catastrophe has sent shockwaves throughout the nation’s healthcare fraternity.

Uniting for a Cause: Condolence Gathering and Tribute Program will take place at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, during the 8th Fit India Conclave 2025.

In a powerful display of solidarity, a unified contribution cheque will be formally handed over to the authorities of BJ Medical College, in the presence of the Hon’ble Health Minister of India, the Hon’ble Ayush Minister, and other respected dignitaries and medical association leaders. The Funds collected will be directly distributed to the families and dependent students affected by the tragedy.
 

Dr. Sunita Dube, a prominent voice for healthcare advocacy known for campaigns like the “Prevention of Assault on Healthcare Professionals National Bill,” emphasized the crucial need for solidarity within the medical community.

“I personally believe that though we come from different specialties, backgrounds, and ideologies, we are ONE family,” Dr. Dube stated. “When one of us hurts, we all feel the pain. And when we rise together, we heal together.

This is a testament of our bond, our profession’s humanity, and our unbreakable spirit.

Call for National Participation and Support

The organization is calling for active contributions, attendance at the tribute program, and widespread promotion of the relief fund to ensure maximum reach and impact.

To ensure transparency and facilitate seamless donations, dedicated QR codes and bank account details for the BJ Medical Relief Fund have been widely disseminated. All disbursements will be monitored with collective oversight. MedscapeIndia stressed the urgency of the initiative, stating that “emotions don’t wait, and responsibility doesn’t delay.”

This initiative aims to transform this year’s Doctor’s Day into a meaningful memorial, uniting the medical community as one white coat, one voice, and one mission to support the families of their fallen colleagues.
