In a bold step toward transforming India’s sporting landscape, the World Rebuild Foundation (WRF) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Trishe-Woxsen SixS Sports Academy to launch the “Adopt An Athlete (A3) Initiative”, a visionary national mission to identify, nurture, and develop world-class athletes from the grassroots and remotest parts of India.
The A3 Initiative, conceptualized by WRF under its larger framework of CSR = Country Social Responsibility, is set to be a game-changer in Indian sports. It aims to discover hidden sporting talent in rural, tribal, aspirational, and remote regions, and provide them with full-residential high-performance training, academic education, and holistic development. The initiative also empowers the corporate sector to become a strategic partner in India’s sporting success through CSR funding under the principle of Country Social Responsibility.
The joint mission is to create a medal-winning contingent for the Youth Olympics 2030, Summer Olympics 2032 and 2036, and various world championships, putting India firmly on the global sporting map.
The Trishe-Woxsen SixS Sports Academy, located at the Woxsen University campus, is equipped with international-standard training infrastructure. The Academy functions as a centre of excellence for high-performance sports training and dual-career athlete education. It is led by sporting legends and coaching icons:
This collaboration combines WRF’s deep grassroots reach with SixS Academy’s sports science expertise to build future champions.
At the MoU signing ceremony, dignitaries shared their enthusiasm and vision:
Sanjay Agarwal, Founder & Chairman, WRF, stated:
“This is more than sports – it’s about social transformation, opportunity, and global recognition for every child with a dream.”
Kunal Prakash, Founder & Co-Chairman, WRF, added:
“Bharat has the talent – it’s our job to find it, fund it, and fuel it to the podium. The A3 Initiative is a national call to action.”
Anil Nair, Chairman, Trishe Group, emphasized:
“Through this partnership, we are creating a national ecosystem where rural talent can access world-class resources and shine globally.”
Antony Chacko, MD & CEO, SixS Sports, shared:
“We believe in nurturing talent with discipline, education, and training. Together with WRF, we will redefine India’s sporting future.”
Karan Nair, Director, Trishe Group, concluded:
“This is not just an MoU; it’s the beginning of a movement to bring Olympic dreams within reach for every Indian child, no matter where they’re born.”
With the signing of this MoU, the World Rebuild Foundation and Trishe-Woxsen SixS Sports Academy have taken a pioneering step toward building a global sporting superpower out of India—one athlete at a time.
