Ben Stiller brought blue steel back to the runway at Paris Fashion Week when he and Owen Wilson strutted their stuff as Derek Zoolander and Hansel at the Maison Valentino show, officially announcing the sequel to their beloved 2001 comedy, Zoolander. According to a tweet from Paramount Pictures, the film will see release on February 12th, 2016.
Production on Zoolander 2 began last month and we can only hope that fabulous fashion stunt makes it into the highly-anticipated sequel. Justin Theroux penned the script and Ben will reprise his role as director. The movie will follow Zoolander and his nemesis, Hansel, as they attempt to reinvent themselves in the ever-changing modeling world.
We love when fashion meets funny, and there’s no denying the fact that Zoolander and Hansel still know how to WERK it on the runway — in fact, we wouldn’t mind seeing more of them on the catwalk!
