Another weird wedding tradition that is going to be included in our list is from the Irish countries of Mayo and Leitrim. In such tradition from groom’s side, a group of 9 young boys collectively known as strawboys go to bride’s house on the eve of wedding. In bride’s house, they are supposed to dance with the bride and if any other young women are also present in bride’s house then they also have to dance with them.
