What do you think the future of digital marketing looks like?
Digital marketing is poised to thrive further and will be seen in a completely different avatar in future. With blockchain,AI and AR , these technologies will revolutionise the way we recognise Digital marketing today. And with more internet penetration its growth is massive.
How important is personal branding from your perspective?
Personal branding is essential for anyone who wants to reach to their career goal,by differentiating themselves from the crowd, enabling one to influence others about you in a more positive way.Its highly recommended to invest in oneself to make and nourish the brand , and to change the brand perception with changing times to stay ahead in the market.
Why should companies invest in corporate influencer programs ?
With the changing of the market equations and to embrace the new age marketing, it’s very important for companies to engage with their audience through influencer marketing.Influencers are today’s brand ambassadors as they have a huge connect with their audience. It’s the fastest and the cheapest way to reach your TG.Yes one has to select the right influencer for your programme or brand.
What do you think about virtual influencers?
With the rise of @lilMiquela, a whole new platform is opened. This is an exciting and revolutionising way companies connect with their audience. This is more exciting to me as with this comes the power of virtual model. You can create any model with your imagination and can give a character to it to blend it with a purpose/message you want to convey to your TG.Still it has long way to go,would be exciting to see if customers/followers are actually hooked to this in a long period.
How do you see the growth of AVGC-XR in India?
The global Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) industry has seen unprecedented growth in the last few years, becoming an integral part of the broader technological landscape. It is expected that this sector will be creating 23 lakh direct jobs by 2032. The Govt. has also recognised the huge potential of this sector by modifying certain policies to make it more investment friendly, fostering innovation and building world class infrastructure.
What made you decide to take on MAAC as a business role model.
With the rise in AVGC-XR Sector , there is huge demand for skilled artists to take up the job and fulfill the seats.Hence we need to train a huge number of people to make them industry ready. With this aim I decided to start MAAC. MAAC (Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity) is the pioneer leader in training for this specialised field. The curriculum is advanced and changes with time,as and when demand for new softwares arises,we are the first ones to implement it in our course curriculum, this makes a strategic differentiation between MAAC students and other students. Our students get job offers once they complete their showreel as per our standard. It’s high time we encourage students to pursue careers in these kinds of dynamic and fast growing sectors where they get satisfaction from work mixed with a good package, which is a rare combo in so-called traditional education streams.
How do you describe your responsibilities as a digital brand owner? Share your experience with MAAC.
I feel proud to contribute in a meaningful way to our society by training and placing students from our city. In the last 18 years MAAC Girish Park has successfully trained and placed more than 1000 students. When we talk about successful careers , here we also talk about high paying freelancing jobs too, which our students can do along with their office job and get smart pay.The utmost satisfaction which I get is when I see parents coming with a packet of sweets in our Academy after their candidates are placed. This is the highest reward for me.I am thankful to those parents who encourage their son/daughters to pursue career in this field without forcing them to carry the baggage traditional Degree programmes. They are the true liberals of our society. As they say ” change is the only thing constant” – we must evolve with changing times and embrace the new age technologies.
