Dr. Raju V.K. A shining personality in Dravidian architecture

Dr. Raju V.K. is a living descendant of the Dravidian architecture project, which reached its perfection in the 16th century. He is a native of Erumeli Mukkada in Kottayam district of Kerala State.

Temples built according to Dravidian architecture were known as temples or mandirs. This is a construction method that was built in the shape of a pyramid with mandapams. Dr. Raju V.K. inherited this knowledge from his sage-like gurus forty-five years ago. This is a scientific construction project based on spirituality. He lived with his gurus since childhood and memorized the science by studying and reciting many precious books through their teachings. Dravidian architecture was the architecture of the time when there was no religious or communal discrimination. It is a construction method that can be used by all religious groups.

Science and spirituality are harmonized in this technology. Humans had direct communication with God during this period. Truth was the power of the Dravidian period. As truth waned, the Dravidian generation lost direct communication with God. Then the previous generations drew the form of God that they knew directly on soil, stone, wall and leaves and introduced it to the later generations. Studies show that such forms were carved on stone as a temporary solution to such short-lived reminders and later began to worship God.

The Vijayanagara emperors, Cholas, Vakadakas, Pandyas, Satavahanas, Hoysalas, Pallavas, Gangas, Kadambars and Rashtrakutas had adopted the Dravidian architectural style.

Apart from the temples, hundreds of large and small houses were also built by this time. The criteria of the Dravidian Shastra construction method are the measurements that are revealed in the mind through meditation and worship. Temples and houses are built in suitable places by understanding the type and quality of the object, the location of the mountains that are not visible to the naked eye, the possibility of air circulation in the area, the sources of negative energy in the subterranean space, other presences, the construction of the required building, and the possibility of positive and negative energy circulation through meditation.
