Bradley Cooper on Casting Lady Gaga for ‘A Star Is Born’: ‘I Fell in Love With Her Face and Eyes’

 

The science between “A Star Is Born” executive Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga was unmistakable amid the film’s question and answer session at the Venice Film Festival on Friday, where the combine said they fortified over their mutual Italian roots.

“I didn’t have any acquaintance with you were Italian. I recollect when we initially met, following 10 minutes we were eating custom made sustenance that she cooked – I want to eat – and that was really an immense bond that we both originated from East Coast Italian-American families. So we had a genuine synchronicity on that level from our childhood,” said Cooper, who conceded that he promptly “began to look all starry eyed at her face and eyes.”

Woman Gaga, who made a splashy landing on the Lido resembling an Old Hollywood diva, said the primary test for her in playing Ally was to demonstrate her weakness. Cooper helped her channel that by making her agreeable and wiping the cosmetics off her face totally on the primary day of work.
