2,000 MW of power available through inter-state transmission network…
An inter-state transmission network (IST) was set up for uninterrupted power supply through this power plant. As a result, 2,000 MW of additional power is now available for Mumbai and MMR regions. The ambitious project will also strengthen the transmission network of existing power supply for the region. Of these, 24 × 7 affordable and green energies will also be available for Maharashtra through the Mumbai Energy Road Project.
