The director of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Joachim Ronning, is set to direct Maleficent 2.

Ronning’s work with Pirates of the Caribbean saw the film net $794.6 universally and keeping in mind that not phenomenal, was one of the better spin-offs in the establishment.
