Hyderabad, April 17, 2025 — Bower School of Entrepreneurship, the pioneering institution transforming entrepreneurship education, announced the launch of its undergraduate program in entrepreneurship at the Bower UG Summit, T-Hub, Hyderabad on April 12, in the presence of Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble IT & Industries Minister of Telangana. Applications for the practically-led program are now open for the academic year starting in 2025.
The newly launched 3-year full-time undergraduate program is designed to build the next generation of entrepreneurs by emphasising real-world learning, founder-led teaching, live startup venture projects and global exposure. Aspiring students can apply by taking the Bower Entrepreneurship Aptitude Test (BEAT) at Bower’s official website (http://www.bowerschool.in)
Mr. Pavan Allena, Founder of Bower School of Entrepreneurship, shared his input saying, “We’re not here to create job seekers. We’re here to shape job creators, problem solvers, and leaders of the future. Our undergraduate program in Entrepreneurship is just the beginning of that journey.”
The focus of the summit was to reimagine business education in India, and brought together leading startup founders, investors, educators and venture capitalists to share their insights in a series of informative panel discussions, such as “The Path to Leadership & Entrepreneurship: A New Era in UG Education”. It also included a keynote session with Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the IBC and IT Departments of the Telangana government.
The event witnessed a significant turnout of high school students, parents, and educators eager to understand how a degree in entrepreneurship can equip young minds with the mindset, skills, and networks to build ventures, solve meaningful problems, and lead with impact. Additionally, it also included a fireside chat on “Building the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs in Nation Building”. The summit offered an interactive parent-student Q&A session on the value of entrepreneurial education, and showcased the intricacies of the Bower UG program, along with its founder-led mentorship ecosystem.
The program will see active knowledge delivery by top startup founders to mentor students, and build real ventures during their three year journey — to help them graduate with either a startup or a venture-ready portfolio. The program is offered in parallel with earning a degree from Manipal University’s online degree program, ensuring academic accreditation alongside practical entrepreneurial training.
