Bringing Vision to Life: A Conversation with Hemal Purohit, Founder of ARIS Estates:

In this exclusive interview, Hemal Purohit, Founder & CEO of ARIS Estates, reflects on his visionary approach to reshaping the luxury real estate landscape. From mindful growth to sustainable design, Hemal shares insights into his leadership philosophy and the vision driving Aris Estates, redefining urban living with purpose and lasting value.

1.Can you share with us your journey and how you decided to start building ARIS Estates with a purpose-driven approach?
My journey with ARIS Estates began from a deeply personal space — a longing to create homes that don’t just reflect wealth, but meaning. I’ve always believed real estate is more than just land and structures; it’s about how people feel in a space. After years of working across industries and witnessing the emotional disconnect in most high-end developments, I felt a calling to do things differently.

ARIS was born from the conviction that the future of luxury is rooted in purpose. It’s not just about how much a home costs — it’s about what it stands for. Every Aris home is designed as a sanctuary: grounded in nature, elevated in design, and built with intention. We don’t just build to sell — we build to stir something within people.

2.What inspired you to launch the brand, especially with a focus on your specific industry?
There was a clear gap in the second-home and villa space — too many projects were formulaic, devoid of soul or originality. Most felt like replicas of urban high-rises transplanted into rural settings. That contradiction never sat right with me.

ARIS was born to bridge that disconnect. I envisioned homes that felt serene, expressive, and deeply connected to their surroundings — homes that celebrated nature rather than dominating it. Inspired by global design philosophies and local sensibilities, we wanted to create a new kind of luxury: one that’s quiet, reflective, and timeless.

3.Could you describe ARIS Estates within your industry?
ARIS Estates is a disruptor in India’s luxury real estate space. We specialize in boutique villa communities and artistically curated estates located in naturally abundant destinations like Pawna Lake. What sets us apart is our approach — we don’t operate like conventional developers.

Instead, we curate experiences. Each project is deliberately limited in inventory, crafted like a collector’s edition. We blend sustainable architecture, landscape design, and cultural storytelling into each home. Whether it’s through our Artist’s Villa concept or our slow-living retreats, we treat every home as a living work of art — not just a product.

4.In what ways do you stay updated with the latest trends and developments in your industry to ensure the brand remains competitive?
We stay attuned by listening — to the land, to our buyers, to creative voices across disciplines. Our team actively engages with global trends in design, sustainability, wellness, and conscious living. But we don’t chase trends for the sake of relevance — we ask what will still feel sacred ten years from now.

Collaborations play a big role. From working with award-winning designers and architects to exploring partnerships with artists, musicians, and wellness experts, we constantly bring fresh perspectives into the fold. This keeps AARIS evolving — yet grounded.

5.Can you discuss any challenges you’ve faced in marketing and how you’ve overcome them?
One of our biggest challenges was educating the market on our philosophy — especially in a space where speed, scale, and ROI often dominate the conversation. Our model is the opposite: we build slow, we build soulfully, and we cap our inventory to preserve quality and land health.

Instead of aggressive selling, we focused on storytelling. We built our brand through intimate conversations, curated experiences, and authentic relationships. Our first buyers became our biggest champions — because they could see that ARIS isn’t a sales pitch; it’s a belief system.

6.How does your brand implement ethical practices?
Ethics are woven into every decision we make. From land acquisition to construction, we follow a zero-compromise approach on integrity. We only build in locations where environmental impact is minimal and local ecosystems can thrive. Every ARIS villa is low-density by design — no overdevelopment, no ecological erosion.

We work closely with local artisans and sustainable material suppliers, and we believe in fair, transparent pricing. No hidden costs, no exaggerated claims. As a brand, we are also exploring long-term sustainability goals such as reforestation, solar integration, and responsible water management on all sites.

7.Future vision and expansion plans of the brand?
Our focus remains resolutely on Pawna — a region we believe can become a benchmark for mindful luxury living in India. We’re not chasing horizontal expansion; instead, we aim to deepen our roots and redefine the experience of owning a second home.

The next phase of ARIS will include a more immersive lifestyle layer — from artist residencies and wellness collaborations to curated retreats and cultural gatherings. We’re also developing Project Ivy, our next boutique community of artistic villas, alongside the flagship Mana by ARIS Estates. These aren’t just homes — they’re designed to be sanctuaries of legacy and expression.

8.What are your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs?
Build slow. Build true. In a world racing toward visibility, dare to choose depth over speed. Don’t just chase what’s trending — create what’s needed. Align your business with your values, and never underestimate the power of doing things differently.

Trust that the right people will find you. The best brands are built not just on strategy, but on sincerity. If your venture feels like an extension of who you are — you’ll always have the strength to grow it, even when the road gets tough
