The 66-year-old former Olympian, who declared she was converging to a woman in a now iconic television interview with Diane Sawyer and subsequent Vanity Fair Cover, exposed she had began to transition in the late 1980’s at a women’s leadership conference on Monday.
Caitlyn Jenner has talked candidly about her first effort at gender transition, two decades before the star spill the beans around the globe that she is a transgender lady. “I started on hormones. But yeah, I was a good 36B, and I loved them,” Jenner informed participants at the MAKERS Conference.
“I thought, ‘This is fabulous!’ My mission at that point was to transition before I was 40. Got to 39, I just couldn’t go any farther.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star express that, after she decided to not to take hormones, she met the woman who would become her wife of nearly 14 decades, Kris Jenner.
“I actually had my boobs removed. I never told anyone that,” she said.
Jenner included that she informed her wife-to-be about her previous life, leading to the construction of “rules” for her behaviour in their relationship.
‘The guidelines with Kris and I were, “Don’t dress up, certainly around the house. If you really need to do that, when you’re on the road, take stuff and do that,”‘ she said.
The feedback come after Kris Jenner exposed in her ex-husband’s Vanity Fair Profile that she had known about the hormone treatment, although she was unaware that it was relevant to any kind of gender dysphoria.
“When I met Bruce, he informed me that he had done hormones back in the beginning 80s,” the 60-year-old “momager” said.
“This was a conversation that took place in the early 90s. So, what he was telling me happened a decade earlier, and he never really explained it…there wasn’t a gender issue. Nobody mentioned a gender issue. Somebody mentioned that [he] at one point in his life liked to dress up.”
