This unique celebration is aligned with the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year, symbolizing the maximum availability of solar power in a single day.
What is Solar Energy Day?
Solar Energy Day is more than just a date on the calendar. It is a nationwide movement started in 2023 with a vision to spread awareness about the importance, accessibility and benefits of solar energy in our daily lives. This initiative, led by Mr. Prafulla Pathak, President of SESI, calls upon every citizen—whether an individual, an institution, or an industry—to participate in this green revolution.
